Tyler Thompson Bio

Tyler Thompson is an AmeriCorps member serving as the Outreach Coordinator at Pontchartrain Conservancy. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He started his college career studying Spanish and minoring in French, then switching to a major in World Languages: Dual Language at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. He did not complete a degree here and instead returned home transferring to the University of New Orleans and graduated in 2022 with a B.A. in Film & Theatre Arts.

Before joining Pontchartrain Conservancy, Tyler was a background actor and video editor. In his free time, he creates video content for his instagram and youtube, edits youtube content for a friend, and spends time with his family.
