Theresa Romero Bio

Theresa Romero is a Serve Louisiana AmeriCorps member serving as Pontchartrain Conservancy's Tree Nursery Volunteer Coordinator. Theresa received her BA in music education from Loyola University New Orleans. After teaching middle school orchestra for four years, she decided to follow a different passion and began studying environmental science at the University of New Orleans, where she is now a part-time student.

Theresa enjoys learning about the natural world and her favorite way to observe it is in a canoe. She also likes to spend her time writing and performing music, sewing clothes and quilts, and solving puzzles.
