Presentations

Pontchartrain Conservancy’s John O’Donnell was invited to share the success of our Homeowner Sewer Assistance Program at the National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration. Focused on the Northshore, the program sets out to help homeowners better understand how to manage their wastewater. Unlike in New Orleans, Northshore communities must provide individual, onsite sewage treatment. Through the program, Pontchartrain Conservancy partners with local parishes to carry out door-to-door inspections and offers education to local inspectors and homeowners. You can view the slide deck here.

We recently completed a presentation on Microplastics - you can view that presentation here.  Thank you to our staff, especially Kate Tannian, for this presentation!
