Three years ago, Hurricane Ida wreaked havoc in St. James Parish, toppling trees, knocking out power, and tearing apart the walls and roofs of some trailers and homes. Some residents reflected on the storm’s lasting impact Tuesday at one of the kickoff events for a project aimed at developing a community resilience plan.
