Meet Our AmeriCorps Team: Dan Wiet

Daniel Wiet serves as the Coastal Data Sharing Program Developer and Technology Coordinator. His background is in Environmental Science with a focus on Pollution Prevention and Remediation and GIS, and recently has started his journey into computer programming and coding. Originally from the Chicago area, he has lived in New Orleans for the past 5 years, becoming increasingly more interested in coastal environmental concerns. When not at work, you can find Dan in the park, riding his bike, walking his dog, or handlining for crabs.
