Pontchartrain Conservancy, in partnership with NORD, presents the ultimate classic, Jaws! This year is the 50th anniversary of the movie! Come join us FREE, Friday October 24. Gates open at 6p, and the movie starts at dusk (~7:15p). We will have concessions for sale. Thank you to our sponsor Waste Pro for making this event possible.

We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated Lights on the Lake holiday celebration is back for its 11th year! Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., and bring your family to enjoy a magical evening filled with festive lights and holiday cheer. This event promises the best view of the annual West End Boat Parade, a stunning display of beautifully decorated boats lighting up the lake.

Admission for all is $10 (free for children five and under) and tickets to the event will be sold at the door and online. No pets or chairs are allowed.

All proceeds from Lights at the Lake will allow Pontchartrain Conservancy to continue its mission to drive environmental sustainability and stewardship through scientific research, education, and advocacy, as well as offering education and outreach opportunities through the New Canal Lighthouse.
