Help the Pontchartrain Conservancy plant 350+ oak trees on historic ridges in St. Bernard Parish. These trees provide critical habitat, stabilize land, and support coastal resilience.

What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes, refillable water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing (long sleeves & windbreakers recommended)
Provided: Boots (if needed), lifejackets, ear protection, snacks, and water
This activity involves moderate physical work, including planting and riding in an airboat. Lifejackets and ear protection are required on the boat.
We’re excited to host our sixth Storm Aware and Prepare Presented by Entergy—a free, family-friendly event focused on hurricane preparedness. Join us on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon as we get ready for the upcoming hurricane season.
Partner organizations will be onsite with helpful resources, preparedness supplies, SWBNO storm response equipment, kids' activities, and a presentation by Meteorologist Scot Pilie at 10 a.m.
