The New Canal Lighthouse at West End along Lakeshore Drive was severely damaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005.  The Pontchartrain Conservancy has rebuilt the lighthouse and it now houses a museum and education center that offers to the public, environmental and historical programs focusing on the ecology of the Pontchartrain Basin, the history of the New Orleans region and the the history of the lighthouse.

Now you can help support this historic icon by purchasing a personalized Lighthouse brick for yourself or as a gift. Bricks come in three price levels listed below. You may list your name, the name of a loved one, friend, old boat, camp, pet club, the date, etc. It’s up to you!
