Come visit the New Canal Lighthouse for free food, drinks, and opportunities to sign-up for STEM programming with Pontchartrain Conservancy. The goal of our Educator Open House is to connect teachers and schools throughout the Basin with our hands-on, inquiry-based programs that include labs on stormwater, green infrastructure, marine debris, coastal land loss and restoration, water quality, and so much more! Interact with our Lakefront Learning Lab. Sign-up for one of our school-based, deep dive programs on water quality or stormwater where the lab comes to you and your students. Visit and chat with our partners about the services they can offer. We intend to be a resource for you and your students. Come share your feedback on what we can do for you!
